Rev. Charlie Kosla of St. Mary's Church, Chigwell, Retires

On Sunday 24th May, the Chair of Chigwell Parish Council, Cllr Debby Rye, was invited along with Cllr Lisa Morgan to the farewell evening for Reverend Charlie Kosla.
Reverend Kosla was the team rector at St. Marys Church in Chigwell Village. St. Mary’s is part of the Benefice of the Vale of Roding, in the Diocese of Chelmsford, within the Church of England. Reverend Kosla supported the Chigwell community and was always a special guest at the lighting of the Christmas tree on Station Green, Chigwell. He is retiring to Felixstowe.
Reverend Kosla's retirement party was held at Abridge Village Hall, where a service took place followed by teas, coffees, and delicious cakes. Cllr Debby Rye said that “Charlie will be missed by many around here."
Chigwell Parish Council would like to wish Reverend Kosla and his wife a very happy, relaxing retirement.
