Information for Visitors to Chigwell Cemetery, Froghall Lane

Visitors are advised that Thames Water has implemented an emergency road closure on Manor Road, Chigwell, to undertake urgent repairs following a water network failure. The closure commenced overnight on 30 June 2026 and is currently expected to remain in place until 5 July 2026, although this may change depending on the progress of the repair works.

Access to Chigwell Cemetery remains available; however, visitors should note that Manor Road is closed at the junction with Fencepiece Road and Hainault Road up to Woodland Road and Grange Hill Station. Access to the Cemetery can only be gained from the direction of the Lambourne Road / Manor Road junction and Manford Way.

Diversions are in place and delays are likely. Visitors are therefore encouraged to allow extra time for their journey and plan their route accordingly.
