Open Spaces and Cemetery Maintenance Schedules

Chigwell Parish Council is pleased to publish its Open Spaces Maintenance Schedule, which will be reviewed and updated on a regular basis.

The purpose of publishing this information is to promote transparency and provide residents with greater visibility of planned maintenance activities across the Council's open spaces and cemetery.

In addition to the general maintenance schedule, the cemetery will have its own detailed maintenance plan displayed on the cemetery noticeboards. This will identify individual sections of the cemetery and the periods during which maintenance is scheduled to take place.

Residents are kindly reminded that all schedules remain subject to change. Cemetery maintenance is undertaken by the same Open Spaces Team responsible for grave preparation and burial activities, which will always take priority when required. Planned works are also dependent upon weather conditions and may be amended accordingly.

We hope that making this information publicly available will provide greater clarity regarding the work undertaken by the Council's Open Spaces Team and assist residents in understanding how maintenance activities are planned and delivered.
