Chigwell Cemetery – Winter Gate Closing Time

As we move into the winter months, Chigwell Parish Council would like to remind all visitors to Chigwell Cemetery that the cemetery gates will close at 4.30pm from Thursday, 1st October.

Visitors are asked to ensure they have left the cemetery before the closing time.

At 4.30pm, the cemetery’s automatic electric bollard will rise, preventing vehicles from entering or exiting after the gates have closed.

We appreciate your cooperation and ask all visitors to please allow sufficient time to leave the cemetery before the closing time.
