New Telephony System Now Operational

Chigwell Parish Council is pleased to confirm that its new telephony system is now fully operational, providing an improved and more efficient service for residents and visitors.

Telephone Contact Hours

Telephone enquiries are handled Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 4:00pm, excluding bank holidays, when the office is closed.

Improved Call Handling

The upgraded system includes a professional welcome message and an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) facility. This allows callers to select clear menu options so enquiries can be directed to the appropriate service efficiently.

Where staff are unavailable or calls are received outside office hours, callers can leave a voicemail message, which will be responded to as soon as possible.
