Chigwell Christmas Lights Event 2025

On Saturday, 6th December 2025, Essex County Councillor Lee Scott was the guest of honour invited to switch on the Parish Christmas tree lights on Station Green, Chigwell.

The Reverend Charlie Kosla, of St Mary's Church, led the carol singing; and afterwards light refreshments including mulled wine, mince pies and savouries, provided by Chigwell Parish Council, were served at the Community Hub.

At the close of the event, all unopened food and drink items were donated to the Community Food Pantry which is based at the Community Hub.

It was lovely to meet so many residents, and special thanks goes out to the Chigwell Parish Council staff and volunteers for their help in making the event a success.
